Badger Shrine Club

Dodge County

Chartered in 1946

ACTIVITIES: Dinner meetings and Beaver Dam Shrine Circus. Meet on 2 nd Thursday of each month, except July, August & September with social hour at 6:00 and dinner at 7:00. They meet alternately at Bayside Supper Club and Cliva Place. Ladies and guest invited, occasionally an outside program.


Beloit Shrine Club

Beloit

Chartered in 1948

ACTIVITIES: The Club holds an annual pancake breakfast in January each year. They hold their monthly meetings at 229 W. Grand Ave in Beloit on the third Wednesday of the month except for July and August.


Green County

Green Country area

Chartered in 1945

ACTIVITIES: Sponsor a community Pancake Day (usually 1 st Saturday in February). Meet randomly on a Sunday evening @ 6:30 P. M.


Hayward Musky Shrine Club

ACTIVITIES: Normally meet on the second Wednesday of each month, except January & February at various locations.


Heart of Wisconsin Shrine Club

Adams, Wood, Waushara & Portage Counties

Chartered in 1963

ACTIVITIES: Monthly meetings and help with 3 area circuses. Meet on 3 rd Monday each month except Jan. at local area restaurants with social at 6:00 PM meeting at 7:00. August is normally a picnic. Ladies and guest invited.

Indianhead Shrine Club

Barron County

Chartered in 1946

ACTIVITIES: Co-sponsors with a local snowmobile club a snowmobile ride with proceeds going to Shriners Hospital. Meets on the third Saturday of the month, except May, June & July, at various locations.


La Crosse Shrine Club

La Crosse

Chartered in 1956

ACTIVITIES: They co-sponsor, along with other area Shrine groups, in the area, the La Crosse Circus. They meet on the third Friday of the month for lunch at the Masonic Temple.


Lakeland Shrine Club

Oregon, Stoughton, McFarland

Chartered in 1945

ACTIVITIES: They put on the famous Lakeland Shrine Club fish boils 2 times a year, normally May and August with dates and locations announced each year. The Club meets 10 times a year, normally on the second Wednesday, at varying locations.


Madison Shrine Club

Madison, Middleton, Waunakee, Sun Prairie

Chartered in 1932

ACTIVITIES: Operate a brat stand at U of W Football games. For over 65 years have hosted the Madison All-City High School Football Banquet. Meets at Zor Shrine Center on either first Friday noon or Sunday evening Sept. to May. Normally have a speaker and ladies and guest are always welcome.


Mascoutin Shrine Club

Wautoma area

Chartered in 1986

ACTIVITIES: Provide manpower for the Wautoma area circus. Meet on the third Tuesday of the months of February, April, June, August, October and December at various locations.


Mecca Shrine Club

Tomah, Black River Falls, Sparta, area

Chartered in 1950

ACTIVITIES: Operate a popcorn wagon at area events. Help with the Tomah Circus, and holds a Potentates Party. Meet on 4th Wednesday each month, except Dec., at the Tee Pee Supper Club, Tomah, at 12 Noon. Occasional guest speaker, Ladies and guests join us at meetings.


Mehara Shrine Club

Eau Claire

Chartered in 1945

ACTIVITIES: Mehara Shrine Club is the only Zor Club to have its own clubhouse. It shares some of its space and meeting rooms with other Eau Claire area Units. They hold an annual Potentates party in the spring and are actively involved with the Eau Claire and Menomonie circuses. They usually meet on the third Monday of each month at various locations.


Mississippi Valley Shrine Club

Cochrane, Fountain City, Buffalo City area

Chartered in 1950

ACTIVITIES: The Club meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month at the Burlington Hotel in Alma. Dinner at 7:00, business meeting following.


Moundview Shrine Club

Dodgeville area

Chartered in 1947

ACTIVITIES: Hold 3 meetings per year with no set date or location. Meetings are at the call of the President.


Pine River Valley Shrine Club

Richland Center area

Chartered in 1950

ACTIVITIES: Social Dinner Meetings, Miscellaneous fund raising projects. Meets on 3 rd Tuesday in Feb, Apr, Jun, Sept, and Nov. Location varies.


Sahara Shrine Club

Jefferson County

Chartered in 1948

ACTIVITIES: They have a corn boil open to the public in both July and August. They also sponsor the University of Whitewater Shrine football game in the fall. They hold a monthly meeting, in the evening, on the last Wednesday of each month at various locations.


St Croix Valley Shrine Club

River Falls

Chartered in 1948

ACTIVITIES: The Club has a portable trout pond that they take to the Twin Cities Hospital that allows patients the experience of fishing. They meet on the first Monday of January, April, July, and October at various locations.


Southern Wisconsin Shrine Club

Janesville

Chartered in 1941

Currently the Club is inactive


Southwestern Wisconsin Shrine Club

Platteville

Chartered in 1958

ACTIVITIES: The Club supplies manpower for the Shrine Circus held in Lancaster. They usually hold their meeting on the second Sunday of the even months (Feb, Apr) with time and place at the call of the President.


Timber Shrine Club

Wausau, Medford, Merrill, Tomahawk

Chartered in 1951

ACTIVITIES: In mid summer they sponsor the Kwahamot Water Ski Show in Tomahawk, WI. They normally meet on the third Saturday of each month at varying locations.


Vacationland Shrine Club

Columbia and Sauk Counties

Chartered in 1946

ACTIVITES: The Club normally meets on the forth Tuesday of the month with location and time at the call of the President.


Vernon County Shrine Club

Vernon Country

Chartered in 1946

ACTIVITIES: Generally meet on the 3 rd Sunday of the month. They meet at the Coon Town Hall located 2 miles east of Westby, WI on highway 14 east. Time is usually 5:00 social, dinner 6:00, business meeting 7:00 PM. Dinners are usually pot luck but some times catered.


AZBA Ladies

Zor Area

An organization open to all Widows of Shriners in the Zor area. The primary purpose of AZBA Ladies is social, as well as support of the Shriners Hospital for Children. They hold their meetings in the Madison area on the first Tuesday of each month, April through December, normally at 1:00 PM at various locations.


Shriners Hospital Womens Auxiliary -Twin Cities

Zor Area

The object of the organization shall be to provide wheelchairs, educational items, recreation, clothing and toys for patients at the Twin Cities Hospital.

Membership is open to any lady who is interested in helping children being treated by the Shrine. No Masonic or Shrine affiliation is required.

Auxiliaries located in Zor Land are: Badger [Beaver Dam], Eau Claire, La Crosse, Marshfield, St Croix Valley [Western WI], Wisconsin Valley [Wausau] and Zor [Madison]. All meet monthly except July and August.

The Auxiliaries each hold various fund raisers of their choosing, collect Campbell Soup labels, Box Tops for Education from General Mills, Kemps and Land O'Lakes 5 cent caps and labels as well as provide clothing, toys, bingo prizes, blankets, mittens, various knitted items and collect pop tabs.


Daughters of the Nile

Zor Area

Antioch Temple #113, Daughters of the Nile is part of the international organization comprised of 150 temples in the United States and Canada. Their one and only philanthropy is to assist the children in the Shriners Hospitals, though monetary contributions to the Supreme Convalescent Endowment Fund and Convalescent Relief Fund, and through gifts and craft items and tray favors sent directly to the Chicago hospital. Antioch Temple has 205 members. Their membership is drawn from the entire western half of Wisconsin. They meet the third Thursday of the month, September through May. Luncheon is served at 11:30 a.m., with the session following at 1:00 p.m.

Antioch Temple has one performing unit called “The Antioch Flags”. The group performs at their installations, for the Supreme Queen’s visit and at the Supreme Session each June. Currently there are 9 members in the patrol, but more members are welcome. There is also a choir that sings before each of the sessions. One special interest group is the Euchre Marathon, with 28 members currently involved. They begin the season with a kickoff luncheon in the fall and end with a playoff luncheon in the spring.

Fundraisers include a pancake breakfast held each February in conjunction with the Zor Shrine Circus, and an auction which is held every other year.
